Information for Councils

Councils have access to the service and use the service to view information only available to councils.

Council Pet Search - Council only

Councils will have access to search the national database for pets by tag number or microchip ID (where the owner has permitted the searching of pets to councils) and will be able to see information only available to councils, as specified by the owner of the pet.

If the owner has allowed the viewing of their personal photo to councils, this photo can be used to easily verify a person as the correct owner of a pet.

Councils will also be able to view a 'note for councils' field where the owner can place a note that can only be viewed by councils.
